MAPLE HARDWOOD FLOORING

Allied Products offer the most popular maple floor systems used in the industry for basketball, aerobics and multipurpose use. These floor systems are the most widely used because they are designed to maximize performance, stability, longevity and safety with cost effectiveness. The solid T&G maple flooring strips are available in both 25/32” or 33/32” thickness and several widths over a number of different underlayment systems.

Action Thrust I™

Applications: Basketball, Aerobics & Multipurpose Use

Architectural Specifications – CSI Format pdf file

This system consists of two layers of 15/32” thick CDX plywood with 3/4” thick pneumatic rubber pads affixed to the bottom of the first layer of plywood and solid T&G maple flooring strips attached to the top layer of plywood. The floor system is typically finished with two coats of sealer, painted with game lines (when applicable), and finished with two coats of urethane finish. Vented, rubber cove base is then installed to cover the expansion gap around the perimeter of the room.

Action Thrust I™ captures the essential factors of DIN characteristics known as Din Essence, using commonsensical criteria for shock absorption, ball rebound, deformation and peripheral control. This system is excellent for gymnasiums, aerobics, dance floors and multipurpose floors. The rubber pads are available in two Durometer (hardness) ratings and variable thickness depending on the floor use.

ActionCush II™

Applications: Racquetball and Squash Court Floors

Architectural Specifications – CSI Format pdf file

This resilient floating floor system combines the Airtech™ natural rubber pads, (or PVC pads), attached to the ActionCush™ sleepers with the strength of solid T&G maple flooring strips to create a high profile cushioned system. This floor system floats on the slab to create excellent shock absorption along with great airflow. The ActionCush II™ is an excellent choice for racquetball and squash courts.
